I honestly don't know where I did my sharpening on this one :p

1. Pasted the cap onto a new layer on my 100x100 canvas. Copy Pasted it and painted in some black and beige (000000 and 736357) to color and add some shadow, set to Normal 79%. Shoving stuff in at the very start so it's part of all your layers sometimes does wonders.

2. Copied the base layer twice (most likely culprit for my sharpening), set both to Screen 100%. Then copy pasted my painted on layer, set it to Multiply 79%.

3. Copy Pasted and set to Screen 100%. Copy Paste again, set to Soft Light 100%.

4. Copy Pasted, desaturated it, and set to Soft Light 82% (second most likely culprit for sharpening). Picked the color from the upped left corner and painted over the lightest bit on the top to even out the light/color there.

5. I then decided I wanted even bolder shadows, created a new layer and painted the left side of her face with the darkest color from there (white bg just so you see where I painted).

6. Added a texture set to Screen 100%, copy pasted and flipped the icon horizontally.
